Our Story
Welcome to the official home of the Nerds Doing Nerd Things Podcast!
We're a group of longtime friends who love getting together to talk about all things nerdy. From movies, TV shows, video games, comic books, conventions, and pop culture to whatever random topic sends us off the rails, you never know where the conversation is going to end up.
Our adventure began in June 2020 when we were bored during the "Panorama Panini" and decided to share our special brand of insanity with strangers on the internet. What started as a fun way to pass the time quickly grew into something much bigger than we ever expected.
Since then, we've expanded beyond the podcast with two additional branches of The Nerds Network. Wrestling With Nerds covers the world of professional wrestling, while Dining With Nerds is our restaurant review brand, where we visit local restaurants, share our experiences, and help others discover great places to eat.

A.J. Coppola
Host
A.J. is the creator and host of the Nerds Doing Nerd Things Podcast. He came up with the original idea back in 2020 and has been leading the conversations, interviews, and occasional chaos ever since. His passion for all things nerdy helps keep every episode fun, engaging, and full of great discussions.
Susy Cromwell-James
Co-Host
Susy is our co-host and resident evil gremlin. Whether she's keeping everyone in line, adding her unique perspective, or stirring the pot, she always keeps the conversation entertaining. Her quick wit and honest opinions make every episode even more memorable.
Jessica Coppola
Executive Producer
Jess is our Executive Producer and the driving force behind Dining With Nerds, our restaurant review blog. She also manages the website, networking, creates artwork, and performs many of the tasks that keep The Nerds Network running smoothly. Her organization and dedication help ensure everything stays on track and continues to grow.
Ryan Frey
The Guru
Ryan is our resident Guru and the host of Wrestling With Nerds. He's always ready to lend a hand, share his knowledge, and jump into discussions whenever an extra opinion is needed. His years of wrestling knowledge make him the go-to source whenever questions or debates come up.
Tee-Jay Barnier
Co - Founder
Tee-Jay is a co-founding member of the Wrestling With Nerds Podcast. He brings his signature comedy and "devil's advocate" approach to discussions, offering unique perspectives on both classic and modern wrestling storylines. His ability to challenge opinions and spark debate makes every episode more entertaining.
Mike Campeggio
Wrestling Analyst
Mike joined the Wrestling With Nerds crew in mid-2025, bringing a fresh, modern perspective to the podcast. His passion for today's wrestling product adds a new voice to every discussion and keeps the crew up to date on the latest storylines. And if you're lucky, you'll witness him scaring AJ out of his chair when he least expects it.

Will is our Podcast I.T. specialist and the go-to person whenever technology decides to throw us a curveball. James Fair

James is our Digital Artist and the main creative talent behind much of the artwork you'll find across our website and social media. His designs help bring The Nerds Network to life. From logos to promotional artwork, his creativity gives our brand its distinctive look.

Paul is our Resident Drunk and the master of comedic timing. Whether he's making everyone laugh, pushing everyone's buttons, or simply enjoying a drink, he always brings something memorable to the conversation. He has a knack for making everything just a little more entertaining.
